Below are online courses and resources I recommend if you are looking to gain new skills and/or grow an online business.
Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links meaning I receive a commission if you sign up for the course (at no extra cost to you). I only recommend courses/resources that I have taken, created myself or ones where I strongly believe in the course creator!
If you are interested in becoming a virtual assistant, then I highly recommend you check out Abbey Ashley’s SavvySystem course. Abbey built her own successful VA business and has taught hundreds (probably thousands) of other women how to build their own successful VA business. She definitely knows her stuff!
If you are a notary, or interested in becoming one, then being a loan signing agent could be a great, flexible career for you! I am a notary and took this course and was really impressed. You can read more about the course in this blog post.
I took Caitlin’s Proofreading for Court Reporters course a couple years ago mainly out of curiosity to see if I could actually get a client. Sure enough, I did! I followed the course completely and had a client within a couple weeks of completing the course. Read my course review here.
I am currently a student in Beth Anne’s FB Ads Intensive. Beth Anne runs Brilliant Business Moms and has a fabulous FB Ads Intensive Course. Intensive is a good word for it. It’s SO thorough. I’m still working my way through the course, but I’m so impressed! I’ll be using her methods for as long as I run FB ads!
If you have an online brand and sell digital OR physical products, the FB Ads Intensive will teach you how to run effective ads! I was pretty terrified of FB ads until I started this course. I’m beginning to get the hang of it now using Beth Anne’s methods and I’ve grown my bookkeeping email list as a result!
If you plan to run an online business – whether a blog, service business or e-commerce site, you’ll want to collect email address and build a list. I use and recommend ConvertKit. You can sign up for a free trial here.
I have recently switched all of my website themes to BluChic themes. The Daily Career is using the Victoria Theme. I love how easy they are to customize. I also use BluChic’s landing page templates and love them!
If you need beautiful, feminine photos for your blog or online business, then check out Styled Stock Society. What I love about SSS is the bonus Canva templates you get with your membership (there are TONS of them!). In addition to a huge library of photos, you get Canva Instagram and Pinterest templates, Workbook templates, Checklists and Planner templates.
